Born in a Hindu Punjabi family, Ashok Singh, a retired professional based in
Delhi, found his calling in Sikhism. He converted and is now an amrit-dhari Sikh. On behalf of Lokmaanya, I spoke to him, what led him to embrace Sikhism, and his life and experiences post the change.
There are Gurudwaras in other parts of Baluchistan like – Dera Bugti, Dera Murad Jamali, Dera Allahyar, Usta Muhammad, Sibi, Lehri and Hub. Though the numbers of Sikhs in Baluchistan run into few hundreds, Sikhism here has been kept alive by Hindu Gur-Sikhs.
